LOUCA P LOUCAS

FCCA ( FOUNDER OF LPL AUDIT CO LTD)

Louca Loucas is a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor (FCCA) and a member of the Cyprus Association of Certified Public Accountants (SELK / ICPAC).

With over 20 years of experience in the fields of accounting, auditing and taxation, Loucas has covered the whole spectrum of business activity, while gaining valuable experience as he worked in large financial services companies in Cyprus.

From his position as Director of Audit Department, Loucas was responsible for a significant portfolio of clients with international and local activities.

Over the years, he has acquired in-depth technical knowledge and experience, participating in the preparation and auditing of Financial Statements, having the overall responsibility for auditing and signing the auditor's report.

Background and qualifications:

  • Loucas studied computer science in Cyprus and then at an English university where he has specialized in Computer Science and Network Security (BCSc and Network Security).
  • In July 1998 he also completed his degree in Dublin (Certificate in Business Studies).
  • In July 1999 he started working at the audit firm KPMG Ltd (where he worked until December 2019)
  • At the end of 2007 he completed the professional degree of ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) and in June 2008 he became a member of SELK.
  • At the same time, in 2008 he founded the company LT Information Systems Ltd (LT Security Systems), which provides support and installation of security systems all over Cyprus
  • From 2011 until today he teaches (part time seasonal) the evening accounting programs (Accounting Software) in the private institute "Phanos Iacovou Educational Center"
  • In the year 2018, together with 7 other members, he founded the Volleyball team "Leontas Livadion" and is still the executive cashier of the association.
  • On December 31, 2019 he voluntarily resigned from the audit firm KPMG
  • In June 2020 he started to practice the profession of Certified Public Accountant as a self-employed
  • In March 2021 and due to a significant increase in customers, he decided to establish the audit Firm LPL AUDIT CO LTD.

MENAS HADJICOSTAS

Head Of Audit Department

Menas Hadjicostas is a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor (ACCA) and a member of the Cyprus Association of Certified Public Accountants (SELK / ICPAC).

With more than 5 years of experience in the fields of accounting, control and taxation, Menas has covered the whole range of business activity, while gaining valuable experience as he worked in large financial services companies in Cyprus. From his position as a supervisor in a large auditing firm, Menas was responsible for a significant portfolio of clients with international and local activities.

Menas has acquired in-depth technical knowledge and experience, participating in the preparation and audit of Financial Statements, having the overall responsibility for auditing and signing the auditor's report.

Background and qualifications:

  • Menas studied Business Administration with a specialization in accounting (Business and Public Administration, BA-Degree, with a focus in Accounting), at the University of Cyprus from September 2012 to June 2016
  • Immediately after his studies and due to high performance at the University, in September 2016 he was hired by the audit firm KPMG
  • In September 2019 he completed his professional degree at ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) and in November 2019 he became a member of SELK.
  • At the beginning of 2021 he voluntary resigned from KPMG and joined the audit firm LPL Audit Co Ltd team as head of the audit department.

ANGELA MAPPOURA

OFFICE MANAGER

Angela has more than 5 years of experience in the fields of accounting, auditing and taxation, covering the entire range of companies. He has gained valuable experience as he worked in large financial services companies in Cyprus. From her position as an accountant, she specialized in bookkeeping, and in consulting services on VAT, social insurance and other administrative services. In addition, she is responsible for all Governmental related Services.

Background and qualifications

  • Angela studied Greek literature from September 2001 until October 2004.
  • 2012-2013, ΜΙΜ (Mediterranean Institute of Management) Postgraduate Diploma Ιn MBA.
  • Since May 2019, she worked at the affiliated company LT Information Systems Ltd.
  • Then at the beginning of 2021, she was transferred and joined the team of LPL Audit Co Ltd in which she holds the Office Manager position.

CHARALAMBOS CHARALAMBOUS

SENIOR MANAGER

Charalambos Charalambous is a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor (FCCA) and a member of the Cyprus Association of Certified Public Accountants (SELK / ICPAC).

With more than 5 years of experience in the fields of accounting, control and taxation, Charalambos has covered the whole range of business activity, while gaining valuable experience as he worked in financial services companies in Cyprus. Furthermore, Charalambos have more than 15 years of experience in a bank as an Internal Auditor and as head for the preparation of the Financial Statements of the Company.

Charalambos has acquired in-depth technical knowledge and experience, participating in the preparation and audit of Financial Statements, having the overall responsibility for auditing and signing the auditor's report.

Background and qualifications:

  • Charalampos studied Business Administration with a specialization in accounting (Administration, BA-Degree, with a focus in Accounting), at the P.A. Collage from September 1997 to June 2001
  • Immediately after his studies in July 2002 he was hired by the company Vassos Eliades Ltd and remained until January 2005.
  • From February 2005 he was hired by the company C. J. Nicolaides & Co. Ltd as an auditor of offshore companies and remained until September 2007.
  • From October 2007 he was hired in Cooperation Bank and serve from different positions as auditor, internal auditor and head of department until November 2021 where he voluntarily resigned.
  • In May 2006 he completed his professional degree at ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) and in August 2006 he became a member of SELK.
  • At April 2022 he joined the audit firm LPL Audit Co Ltd team as auditor.

VASO EVANGELOU

ACCOUNTANT

Vaso Evangelou is an accountant with an experience of 20 years in the fields of accounting and audit preparation.

Background and qualifications:

  • Vaso is a graduate of American Academy in Larnaca.
  • She studied Business Administration at P.A. College from September 1998 until June 2002 and she has the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
  • Immediately after her studies in July 2002, she was hired by the company Medousa Clothing Co Ltd and remained until May 2005.
  • From May 2005 until the end of the year, she worked at KPMG.
  • From January 2006 until April 2017, she worked at Cyproman Services Ltd.
  • From May 2017 until March 2021, she provided her accounting services to various private companies.
  • From October 2021 until today, she joined LPL Audit Co Ltd as accountant.

SECRETARY

Katerina has more than 3 years of experience in the fields of secretarial activities and customer service. In addition, she acts as a Sales Representative and is responsible for all Online Governmental Services.
